Nostalgia is a kind of cultural glue which helps bind members of a generation together. Mistakenly
lumped in with Baby Boomers for years, Jonesers were expected to get all misty-eyed about nostalgia
which they felt no connection to—like anniversaries about Elvis Presley and puppet Howdy Doody.
